A Moment Nobody in the Room Sees Coming

One second the room is mid-conversation. The next, the music drops, and people who looked like guests are dancing. A flash mob is the rare piece of entertainment that gets every single person to stop and look at the same thing at the same time.

Betties and Belles has been staging them since 2011. Our dancers come from NFL and NBA sidelines and premier dance companies, and every routine is choreographed for your event, your song, and your moment. We handle the choreography, the music mix, the coordination, and the surprise itself. That range of training is what professional dancers and choreographers spend years building.

I'm Tessa Caccavallo, and I danced for the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers before I started booking dancers full time. A live moment does not offer a second take, which is why companies like SpaceX, Google, and Eli Lilly bring us in when it has to land the first time.

Bringing Your Own Dancers? Choreography Only

You do not always need us to supply the dancers. If you have your own group, we charge a choreography and music fee, typically around $850.

This happens more than you would expect. Brides do it to surprise a groom. Couples do it with their bridal party to surprise the whole reception. Because we are teaching people who have never danced, the routines are shorter and simpler, and we can usually work with you if the budget is tight.

Hype Dancers

Some events do not need a choreographed reveal. They need the dance floor to come alive.

Hype dancers are professionals who work the floor, freestyle with your guests, and keep the energy up all night. No routine, no reveal, just a room that never goes flat. They are a favorite at holiday parties, weddings, and bar and bat mitzvahs.

2 dancers, one hour$450
4 dancers, two hours$1,300

Most clients book two to four dancers, and pricing moves with how long they are on-site.

Specialty Dance Styles

If you want a specific discipline, Latin, ballroom, aerial, tap, or ballet, we bring in specialized groups we work with regularly. Those partners set their own pricing, so we quote it case by case. Tell us the style you have in mind and we will get you a number. Many of these partners hold credentials through bodies like the Dance Masters of America, so you are getting trained specialists, not weekend hobbyists.

Trusted by names that don't settle. Betties and Belles has performed for SpaceX, Google, Eli Lilly, Sprint, the PGA Tour (Bridgestone Invitational), the Indianapolis Colts, Sexy Hair, and Gelish, across corporate galas, product launches, weddings, and nationally televised events.

How Booking Works

Reach out with your event date, city, and the moment you want to create. We build a quote, then choreograph a routine around your song and your event. We mix the music, send instructional videos to anyone joining in, and coordinate the surprise so it stays secret until the first beat.

Book four to six weeks ahead where you can. That window gives us time to make the routine great, and popular dates fill early.

Let's create the moment they will never forget.

Flash Mob FAQs

How much does it cost to hire a flash mob? +
A personal flash mob costs $1,600 for six dancers up to $3,500 for twenty. A corporate flash mob runs $1,900 for six dancers up to $4,250 for twenty. The number of dancers is the main driver of price, and the quote covers the full production, not just the performers.
What is included in the price? +
Dancers on-site for up to one hour, one performance, the music mix, the choreography, all dancers' fees, coordination of the surprise, and instructional videos for anyone who wants to join in. Travel, parking, costuming, extra time, and additional performances are billed separately.
Can I use my own dancers and just hire a choreographer? +
Yes. If you supply the dancers, we charge a choreography and music fee, typically around $850. Brides do this to surprise a groom, and couples do it with their bridal party. The routines are shorter and simpler for non-dancers, and we can usually work with a tight budget.
What are hype dancers? +
Hype dancers work the dance floor rather than perform a choreographed routine. They freestyle with your guests and keep the energy up all night. They are popular at holiday parties, weddings, and bar and bat mitzvahs. Pricing runs $450 for two dancers for one hour up to $1,300 for four dancers for two hours.
How many dancers do I need for a flash mob? +
Most flash mobs use six to twenty dancers. Six works for an intimate proposal or a small reception. Twenty fills a ballroom or a conference stage. Your venue size and the effect you want decide it, and we help you size it during planning.
How far in advance should I book? +
Book at least four to six weeks ahead. That leaves time to choreograph the routine, mix the music, send instructional videos to anyone joining in, and coordinate dancers around your date. Shorter timelines are sometimes workable, so it is always worth asking.
Do you travel for flash mobs? +
Yes. Betties and Belles is a nationwide company with dancers in major cities across the United States. We perform for weddings, proposals, and corporate events coast to coast. Travel is factored into your quote when a booking requires it.
Can we do a specific style of dance? +
Yes. For specialized styles such as Latin, ballroom, aerial, tap, or ballet, we work with specialized partner groups who set their own pricing. Tell us the style you have in mind and we will get you a number.
Can the couple or our executives join the routine? +
Yes, and it gets the biggest reaction. We send simple instructional videos so a bride, a groom, a bridal party, a CEO, or a group of employees can learn a short part in advance. A familiar face stepping into the routine lands harder than any professional moment.
What kinds of events use flash mobs? +
Marriage proposals, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and bachelorette parties on the personal side. Conferences, trade shows, conventions, product launches, and company parties on the corporate side. Anywhere you want a moment people film and talk about afterward.
